»The Coldest Day of my Life - Photo Shoot with Dr Blake«
Four years ago, at the beginning of the year, I rode my bike through the Baltic States, former UDSSR. I cycled against headwinds at - 4° degrees and slept at night in a tent at - 11° (while the water bottle next to me froze).
I can tell that was no comparison to what I experienced with perhaps the coolest doctor I've ever met that day in the mountains, around Idaho Falls. Not only was it bone-chillingly cold at 6:30am in the morning - there also was a wind way too gnarly, sweeping across the mountaintop and literally whipping at our faces.
But what good does it do? After all, if we're upset, it's not going to get any warmer, so we laughed and pulled off a very cool photo shoot.
Thank you, Dr Blake, that your car has a wonderful heated seat. It probably saved us with the short intervals to warm up. High Five!
