»Field of Dreams - ein besonderer Moment in Iowa«

Ich glaube, es ist inzwischen über 30 Jahre her, da habe ich den Film »Feld der Träume« (Field of Dreams) zum ersten Mal geschaut. Und er ist direkt bei mir hängen geblieben. Seitdem habe ich ihn bestimmt ein Dutzend mal geschaut, alleine in diesem Jahr zweimal. Einerseits, weil er einfach eine schöne, seichte Unterhaltung bietet - jedoch ist es die Botschaft, die im Drehbuch steckt, die mich mitnimmt:

„Strebe nach deinen Träumen, egal wie sie aussehen mögen. Sei dir selbst treu. Und trau dich, etwas in dieser Welt zu verändern.“

Heute war ich am Drehort des Films. Naja, was soll ich sagen, das war schon ein besonderer Moment. Ich saß dort eine halbe Stunde auf dem Baseballfeld und habe den Film Revue passieren lassen. Ich freue mich sehr, diesen Ort live gesehen zu haben, heute war ein ziemlich guter Tag.

“Field of Dreams - a beautiful moment in Iowa”

I think it was over 30 years ago that I saw the movie “Field of Dreams” for the first time. And it stuck with me immediately. I must have seen it a dozen times since then, twice this year alone. On the one hand, because it simply offers nice, shallow entertainment - but it's the message in the script that gets me:

"Reach for your dreams, no matter what they may be. Be true to yourself. And dare to make a difference in this World.“

Today I was on the set of the movie. Well, what can I say, it was a special moment. I sat there on the baseball field for half an hour and reviewed the movie. I'm very happy to have seen this place live, today was a pretty good day.
