»The Foot Hills around Idaho Falls«

Clearly - that was the coldest start into a day since I can remember. Or better: since I can feel. Because, I love to be outside to feel the weather and nature. But this morning, that was a another level.

At -17 degrees Celsius we left at 06:30am to take photos in the mountains around Idaho Falls. Blake had encouraged me to do this after we had a cool time shooting photos for her daughter yesterday. Initially we had hoped for sunrise, but instead the wind kicked in and whipped the snow around our ears. Whatever, through the challenge of freezing, we were rewarded with a stunning scenery.

And also implemented a shoot on the occasion. Kudos again to you, Blake for pulling it off so casually! Photos will follow in a next blog at the beginning of the week.

For me it's time to say goodbye to Idaho and start from winter into early summer towards Phoenix - that fits.

High Five!
